Brenda Jackson was born and raised in Jackson ,Florida .she got married to her high school sweet heart in 9172 .she went to earn a degree in business administration from Jacksonville university and had two sons Gerald grand and Brandon .she is an American novelist who writes contemporary multicultural romance novels .she was the first African American author to have a novel published as part of the silhouette desire line, and has seen many of her novels reach the united states of America best seller list .

She began her writing career in the eighth grade in northwestern junior high school. She use to hand writes her stories for fellow classmates to read and also proud to say some of her classmates are still Brenda Jackson readers today. Brenda has written more than 90 novels and has over 3 million books in print her first book tonight and forever became a huge success introducing the madras family. Mars Jackson love writing connecting stories, and have a listing of how many books connect in various saga series.

Jackson began reading romance novels to relieve job related stress in the early 1990, she was dissatisfied with the lack of cultural and ethic diversity in the characters .she told her husband she could do better ,he registered her for a romance writer’s conference and encouraged her to try her hand at writing .at the conference, Jackson met then-unpublished authors . She was determined to write novels that are multicultural romances, featuring African American characters that believe that love is every where.

In 2001 she released her first mainstream women’s fiction novel, a family reunion. Jackson’s familiar polished and confident writing style which allows her characters to burst with color right off the page .in 2002 she became the first African American author to have a novel published as part of the silhouette desire line.
