Breanna And The Children: A Case Study
Per Reporter: Vincent, Breanna and the children live in Pennsylvania together. Breanna moved in with a known drug dealer (unknown). Breanna is addicted to pills (Wellbutrin etc.) Vincent and the children lived with Tonya (paternal grandmother). There are no custody arrangements for the children. Family members went to visit Breanna in Pennsylvania. On July 1, 2017, Breanna took Aubrey to visit the maternal side of the family, but never returned with her. Vincent was finally able to find Breanna in Pennsylvania and inquired about Breanna’s location. Breanna traded Aubrey for $200-month supply of drugs. Breanna stated that she felt that Aubrey would feel happier in MS. The child left Pennsylvania with Breanna’s stepfather (unknown). Breanna was recently reported to Pennsylvania CYS due to neglect, which prompted her to run with Aubrey. …show more content…
Aubrey is sleeping on the floor in the home. Breanna’s stepfather recently served 12 years for conducting a meth lab and is now on parole. Aubrey does not have anything with her; she needs her glasses due to declined eyesight. Aubrey has no medical coverage in MS. Aubrey needs immediate dental work, without Vincent or Breanna being present Aubrey will not receive the necessary treatment. Vincent has filed the necessary paperwork to gain custody and have Aubrey return to Pennsylvania. Emma’s location is unknown; it is unknown if Breanna traded Emma for drugs.
