I’ve heard of Zara brand before I read this article because my girlfriend has a handbag from them. I think they are a good company and they have a good variety of clothing/fashion to offer to the public. From what I’ve heard before, they are on the cheaper side of fashion, but still a bit more on the pricier side, but not comparable to other European fashion brands like Louis Vuitton, Hermes, etc. If there was something that caught my eye, I don’t mind buying from Zara because they seem to make more than decent clothing. I’ve bought a few dress shirts at H&M before, so I figure, if I can shop at H&M, might as well shop at Zara if possible.…

Thus, Zara’s marketing expenditures averaged 0.3% of revenue, instead of the 3% to 4% for competitors. 2) Zara only sells trendy clothes and not try to produce “classic” clothes which would always be in style. Zara’s clothes have fairly short life spans. About 75% of the merchandise changes over every three to four weeks. The shoppers do not expect Zara garments to be highly durable. 3) Zara introduces substantially new design collections throughout the year. Other competitors introduce new design collections at the start of the fall/winter and spring/summer…

From the perspective of Classic management, since it’s mainly focused on achieving goals and discovering the best way to manage and perform tasks, and how they are achieved, like productivity, efficiency… I think Zara is one of the greatest in this field. They keep improving in it’s market with new releases, new trends, having new patterns and designs every 15 days, this is what makes Zara so famous, also because their looks were copied from great designers and they has this affordable prices, but this is another thing, but time, time is the main factor instead of production cost and advertisement. Also at Zara, most of the clothing lines are not replenished, instead they are replaced with new designs to create scarcity value so shoppers can not be sure that designs in stores one day will be available the next… And this is due to its way of perform tasks, and its well trained team.…
