Regardless of Manning being released by the Colts, the Brady and Manning rivalry are a series of games between the two greatest quarterbacks in the NFL. As was previously stated, Brady has played with the New England Patriots since 2000 when he was picked in the sixth round of the NFL draft. Manning, however, was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in 1998, in the first round of the NFL draft and played for the Colts until he suffered a neck injury. “Brady, and Manning have played one another a total of seventeen times,” with Brady leading the series 11-6. Although Brady leads the overall series, the two are currently tied 5-5 over the last ten seasons (Myers 23). They’ve also met five times in the NFL playoffs, with Manning leading the series

During his freshman year he started the season as a seventh string quarterback. Favre looked to take over the starting position in the first half of the third game.
