Bowling Ball Monologue
They say life can give you lemons. Others say ‘life in the slow lane’. However, has anyone ever said ‘When Life Brings You Bowling Balls’? Nope! Never. The say would never catch on and it made Olly the Bowling Ball miserable. He was an adorable little ball. He was painted a neon green colour. His paint was chipped and faded.
As the years went by, Olly became the unused bowling ball. It made him cry. His other bowling ball friends were upset for him, though were just glad to be getting used. There was a rule at the bowling alley in which the balls resided. If you were not used over the space of ten years, you would be removed and turned into who-knew-what. It terrified everyone. They didn’t want to be removed. Everyone else were family. It just didn’t seem right that someone

Perhaps… “No.” He said after a moment. “The humans have ruled over us for as long as any of us can remember. They need to be taught a less in fair play! They need to know we will not stand by and take this any longer.”
Olly quivered. It was difficult to imagine Mo suddenly becoming a tyrant. Something in him snapped as he felt his lips curl inward. “Well, I want nothing more to do with this disgusting plan to make the humans suffer. I want them to pay, but not in the same way you do.” He whirled around and headed back down towards the bowling pins.
“Is this the way you want it? The humans to take you away from everyone who holds you dear?”
Olly just kept rolling. There was nothing he could do about how he felt about the situation at hand. All he wanted was to forget he was even apart of this whole situation. In fact, he needed to stop what was going on before it escalated to the point where Mo did become a tyrant for the ages. He needed to come up with a plan and fast.
“Are you sure about this, Olly?” asked Kempt, the Billiards cue. “Mo doesn’t like to lose at anything.”
“I noticed.” Olly turned his gaze on the bowling shoe twins, Laces and Tongue. “What do you ladies
