In the book Born Too Short by Dan Elish, eighth grader Matt Greene is jealous of his best friend Keith Livingston. The two live in New York City. Keith is tall, smart, and has made out with a lot of girls. On the other hand, Matt is the total opposite! He is really short; he can’t even talk to a girl;, and he isn’t really smart. Although Keith and Matt are best friends, they are totally opposite in looks and personality. This creates conflict in their friendship.
