Book Banning Essay

From taking books away or banning in another words, will create a negative attitude on kids. It may also life lesson taught by teachers to students. Kids need books because if we didn't have the knowledge that we have know then all kids would do is care about rainbows and lollipops! Sometimes parents do the wrong thing and try to do, "What's best for their kid's" but in reality harms the kids. Some books have all the bad and murder content in them but sometimes its good for kid's to learn whats good and whats bad. So, books should never be banned from society. Books helps people take a relieve from reality and also books are a piece of art that us humans need!

While this art shouldn't be vanished from the society, a few have some profanity which isn't so bad. This would pretty much be considered taking away rights of citizens throughout the first amendment. First amendment pretty much tells us that us citizens have the freedom of speech and press, not the freedom of being forced to read what we don't like. To conclude this up, most books include predictable content that might cause bad behavior. When they censor books it's still not good because then kids cant make their on decision on how they feel. They are being forced to feel how they are! Censoring books will also kill the opportunity for the parents to trachea their children themselves.

To continue, books shouldn't be banned because it helps kids escape reality. It doesn't only help kids escape reality but anything with a soul. Some children may have personal issues at their home and when they read, it allows them to forget about whats going on and calm down. In school for example if a kid is lonely with no friends he can pop up a book and dive into something bigger and worthy! Literature is art and thats where the authors express themselves. If you are to take that away then its like shutting an author up for life.
