Body language is a concept of which a person expresses what’s on their mind, their emotions and feelings without saying anything at all. Body language also can be referred to as non-verbal communication. Body language has many factors such as use of voice, gaze, touch, distance, time, and physical environments and appearance. Apart an small percentage of our overall brain processes verbal communication.
Different people use body language in numerous different ways. Every person is rare and their signs and symbols of body language might be unalike form another individuals this is often the case if depending on the persons past or there cultural difference. Body language is universal and these simple facial expressions of a person's mental state are recognized worldwide, happiness, fear, surprise, anger, disgust, and sadness. Body language is not just about how we hold and move our bodies. It involves facial expression, eye contact, how we touch others, our breathing, and ourselves and how we position our bodies. Majority of the time it does not include pace, pitch variation etc. of out voice even though our voice is an important factor to consider with the usual body language factors. Now with a better understanding about body language we can process and improve what our body says about us, which generates a positive improvement in the way we feel.
There are several different kinds of nonverbal communication. The next body language signals show your interest and investment in others. A persons face is able to express many emotions without saying a word unlike other aspects of body language facial expressions are universal. For example the facial expression for sadness is the same in every culture.
