Bizarre Eating Disorders
When we think of eating disorders, bulimia and anorexia are the ones that come to mind. However there are many more, even more severe and harmful to the body.
What is an eating disorder? An eating disorder is a physiological condition which affects an individuals eating habits, either as a result of their own doing (self-inflicted), or as a bodily reaction to the consumption of food.

Anorexia is one of the most common eating disorders by using self-starvation.

Anorexia associated with other bizarre habits such as drinking orange juice laced with

cotton wool in order to make them feel satisfied from hunger . This is a serious eating disorder that causes many deaths every year around the world.
Bulimia is a disorder of eating. Usually among young women, men also play a

part. who suffer from image issues and self esteem. Bulimia is the compulsion of binge

eating then self-induced vomiting.
Binge eating is a disorder where a person forces their self to eat large amounts of food in a short period of time. It is a psychiatric disorder which causes uncontrollable eating until the person feels uncomfortably full. You’ve heard the term, “the bigger the better.” Well in Mauritania, the bigger is better. The size of the woman indicates the amount of space she occupies in her husbands heart. At very early age of five, girls in this country are forced feed in order to make sure that they are significant to their husbands when it comes time for marriage. Here in America we would see it as child abuse, cruel, and unconstitutional, but to them this is their custom.

Drunkorexia is a new slang term used to describe the behavior of women who skip meals in order to save calories for alcohol. The term is also used to describe women who abuse the over consumption of alcohol to purge food
