Biology Personal Statement

It was August five two thousand fifteen, it was a hot sunny day in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. On this day, my life went upside down. I was moving to my aunt's house in Manhattan, leaving my family and friends behind. It was a hard time for me, but I had a clear goal in mind to obtain a medical degree in the city of the world, New York.
I'm currently enrolled at BMCC pursuing an associate degree in science. I have enjoyed this major because it’s not monotonous. There is always something new to learn. The area of study that interest me the most is Biology; the study of living organisms. I'm passionate about it because I desire to know how living organisms function for I could eventually use that knowledge to improve the quality of life of people. Meanwhile that I’m still enrolled in BMCC, with the guidance of professor Adolfina Koroch, I have created a busy schedule for next semester. I will be an assistant professor for biology assisting in the labs and giving tutoring to the students. Also, I’ll be doing research with the purpose of improving my knowledge in Biology and my skills in the scientific method.
After I finish my degree in BMCC, I will continue my education to a four-year college where I plan to study premedicine and eventually continue my education in medical school. With this tittle, I hope to have a positive
