Bing Teddy Bear Research Paper
In 1908
I love to when people are surprised to learn that there was another german toy company that made teddy bears. Most people know about Steiff bears and Ideal bears, but in 1865 Bing toy company was founded by Ignaz and Adolf Bing who started making tin and kictenware and it wasn't until 1890 when they started making enameled and tin toys. In 1907 during the height of the teddy bears sensation is when Bing began making teddy bears. The first bing bears were made with a metal arrow in the ear with the letters G B N in a diamond. Steiff objected and sued bing over the tag in the ear. So bing moved it to the under the arm but Steiff still objected because of the word "button". Bing decided to put a label under the arm with G. B. N.

Polar bears are extreamly well adapted tohunt their prey under water. Keeping warm is no problem for polar bears infact sometimes polar bears have to lay flat on their stomachs on the ice just to cool of. Polar bears have the thickest fur of any bear species. Their fur has two layers. The first layer, the under coat, is the closest to their body it consists of thick, plush, hair that retains heat. The next layer, the outer layer, is a layer made of "guard hairs" and are not actually hair at all they are hollow tubes. the tubes trap air for insulation andalso reflect a visible wavelengths of light in their hollow air space, which combine to make the fur whiteeven though it is in fact colorless. The white coloring provides camoflauge for the bears allowing them to blend in with there white snowy surroundings. Under their fur polar bears have black skin that absorb the sunlight and under that they have a 4-inch layer of blubber. This blubber keeps polar bears warm in the cold water. Polar bears have fur at he bottom of their feet providing extra warmth and traction to the ice. they are adapted to swim 60 miles without a pause to rest. 4. Iyer's illustration of "a man with a teddy bear in his hand and a man with a gun" represents the difference between eccentric and weirdo. Eccentric carries a distinguished Latin pedigree that refers to anything that is neutral or positive. This lead back to show how a teddy bear is good. Weirdo has its mongrel origins in the Old English wyrd meaning fate or destiny. So, the man holding a gun in his hand represents darkness.…

    Bigfoot Myth

However, the most common misidentification is thought to be of an American black bear. In “How Bigfoot Works,” Tom Harris states, “A bear in the wild will stand up on its hind legs, possibly giving the impression of a tall primate. Impressions are highly subjective, skeptics note, and may be skewed when a person has heard a bunch of stories about a strange creature in the woods.” With Bigfoot being a large ape-like, hairy man beast looking similar to American black bears, misidentification is common. A recent study has found the bears look similar to Bigfoot because they are about 7 feet tall when walking on their hind legs. The average Bigfoot sighting makes the creature about 8-9 feet tall and 500-600 pounds. However, they would not have enough food to survive. If these creatures were eating 5000 calories worth of animals and plants, why isn’t there a shortage in the food chain? Simply because Bigfoot does not exist. One of the most famous of these misidentifications was of a hiker recording what he claimed to be “Bigfoot”, in 2007. According to “Bigfoot debunked,” a man from Pennsylvania captured a small Bigfoot on his camera while trying to record any animals in the area. However, when the Pennsylvania game commission analyzed the footage themselves, they concluded the recording was not of Bigfoot, but was of a bear with a severe case of mange. Emily Upton from “The Origin of Bigfoot” also…
