One of our former Presidents, Bill Clinton, stated that “If we do not succeed we run the risk of failure” in our lifetime. However, what does success or to succeed actually mean? In this context, Clinton meant success is something one accomplishes or takes the risk of failing. People in the public have their own understanding and definition behind the infamous word success, which consequently varies based on the person, themselves. Success can be defined as achieving a lifelong goal of attaining wealth and climbing the business ladder, or building a social group of a family and friends.
One characteristic of success is achieving the life goal of attaining wealth and establishing the ultimate career. One example, who illustrates this aspect, is Bill Gates due to his major success in building one of the most preeminent business empires, making him the richest person in the word with $79.2 billion dollars . Success isn’t always amounted by how much fame or wealth you have but having a healthy family. One example who illustrates success are graduating students because they have been aiming to graduate from school for 12 years. On a June morning, the graduates can finally say they have successfully completed high school together as friends of the class of 2016. For the high school graduates, success means that they have received their diploma, but with this the greater accomplishment of making long-lasting high school friendships. Success can also be witnessed in the father of a suburban family household because his success in life may be coming home to a loving wife and two children.
Success has several different meanings depending on the perspective of that individual. Success can be characterized as achieving the goal of being wealthy or something simple as creating a family and creating lifelong
