Bigfoot
Bigfoot/Sasquatch Assignment

When you’re trying to prove a discovery videos, sightings and footprints aren’t solid evidence because scientist can tamper with their videos, sightings and footprints to make believers believe what they want them to see which would result in not being true. With the technology in today’s society scientists don’t have a problem animating or editing videos to make believers believe about a Sasquatch and making it look real. When in realty Sasquatch doesn’t exist at all because there has been no real discovery of it.
When your watching television and you flip through the discovery channel and see a documentary on Sasquatch you automatically stay tuned because it seems interesting, but don’t be fooled, the Sasquatch documentary is there to entertain you not inform you on information about Sasquatch. Television shows are acted out and rehearsed so they know exactly what to say to get believers to believe them and to also entertain them.
Physical Anthropologists don’t believe in Sasquatch because there isn’t any solid evidence that proves such a creature exists because there is a lack of consistency, no bones have been found and no Sasquatches cannot hide there bones better than humans and that’s whys no scientist have found there bones, I think that’s is just non sense. Even when scientists discovered dinosaurs they found bones of them, also no poop, hair or teeth have been found to match that Sasquatch really exists that its just one big myth. People need to stop being gullible and don’t believe everything someone says if they’re no proof behind it to back them up.
Scientists cannot prove that Sasquatch is fake because the burden of proof is on the believers not the scientists. The believers need to be able to provide proof that there is such a creature and be able to back up the evidence not only with videos, footprints or sightings but come up with a way that actually wont be tampered with and they will be able to provide this

In conclusion I think that bigfoot is real. There have been countless witnesses all over the world and there are far too many sightings to them be fake. There are many scientists that have looked into this matter and found scientific proof. Take into example the Albert Ostman story and countless other sightings. I think that there have been far too many scientific things as well to prove this…

Throughout history, sasquatches have been encountered. Accounts of these encounters are never proven true. One of the most famous is told by Albert Ostman. He was camping by Vancouver when he woke up and noticed that his camp had been distressed. Later that night, he was dragged approximately twenty-five miles in his sleeping bag. The large sasquatch dragged him to a cave in the side of a mountain. Once they were there, Ostman was thrown onto the ground. He then saw a four sasquatches: the mother, father, and two offspring. The male was about eight feet tall. The sasquatches chattered among each other intelligently. Ostman believed that he was the proposed mate for the young female. He was held captive for six days (Stonehill…

The Bigfoot populations are growing rapidly and they do not live deep in the secluded wilderness as “Bigfoot experts” once theorized. Instead, they live on the fringes of our society, in the parks, woodlots, and isolated forested pockets near civilization. It has been reported that some even live among the homeless and in the abandon urban blight areas of larger…

The scientific method must be done in the following steps: observation, question, hypothesis, experiment, analyze, and conclusion. The scientific method must have a hypothesis and this hypothesis must be tested. This test is done by an experiment. This experiment then allows the scientist to determine whether the hypothesis was wrong or right. This article uses the scientific method by trying to answer how did the mammoth’s become extinct. Allen West then develops a hypothesis that blames a comic for the mammoth’s extinction. He blames a comet for the extinction based on evidence from a crater. West also based and supported his hypothesis on nanodiamonds found around the time of the mammoth’s extinction. He also believes that the nanodiamonds…

As stated in the previous paragraph, there are too many eyewitnesses in my eyes to not believe in Bigfoot. You cannot just imagine staring at a tall, dark, mammoth creature like Bigfoot. When you see one, there is no hesitation in what you just saw, and you will know immediately. Another reason which was also previously stated in the previous paragraph, is that footprints are incredible pieces of evidence. Imagine walking in the woods and seeing a fifteen-inch footprint. There is no way, a human is doing making that footprint and if they are, they are not making it without a shoe or as wide as a Bigfoot footprint. Now as a Bigfoot believer, there are reasons to support your other believers. When this conversation is sparked to a debate, there will more than likely be more people who do not believe in Bigfoot than people who do. They normally use some of the tactics as showed in the last paragraph by attacking the fact that no one has found any profound evidence on Bigfoot and no one has recorded a clear image or video of…

The Solutrean hypothesis is a theory believed to be during the ice age, the polar ice was expanding towards the south. The Solutions could have been along the edge of the ice while in boats and hunting, and were following it west towards North America. If this theory is true it could make us revision human history, but they need evidence to prove this theory. It’s like someone is accusing you of stealing something, you need the receipt to prove you didn't steal it, but in this situation you don't have the receipt you just have to trust…

After attending this lecture it reminded me of the time when my ERWC class and I got into a heated discussion about the paranormal (spirits, poltergeists, ghost) during a fishbowl. About two thirds of the class believed in the paranormal meanwhile the rest thought that it was nonsense. Those who believe in the paranormal, including myself, argued that there is such things as spirits because of previous experiences we have had in the past but also because we believe that there are some deceased who haven’t been able/ cannot pass on to the afterlife and are stuck here. Also that even though there is no scientific evidence that ‘spirits’ exist, there are ways to prove that they exist. For example, we can always conduct our own experiments/ investigations and as Sagan stated in Can We Know the Universe? “Science sometimes requires courage” (Sagan 1). But the non-believers claim that since there hasn’t been any scientific…

The Loch Ness Monster was first spotted in 565. Wider interest in the monster was not spotted until 1933 after a road was build along the loch, making it less isolated. In 1934 the publication was probably known as the best image of the Loch Ness Monster. In 1975 the shot was exposed as a hoax. There has been over 1,000 sightings of the Loch Ness Monster. And nobody has proved that the Loch Ness Monster is real.…

Take, for example, the fake fossil of a bird/lizard hybrid presented to the public that was supposed to show that reptiles somehow evolved into birds (with their scales turning into feathers), or the thousands of fossilized creatures (with ages dating over three billion years ago) that were discovered and found fully formed at a time when several evolutionary mechanisms were supposed to not have existed yet. Not to mention that one of the most convincing aspects of the Evolutionary Theory, Lucy, the oldest and most complete fossil find of a supposed human ancestor, is now believed to be an amalgam of different species. Considering the fact that some of the bones used to construct her skeleton were found miles away and buried two hundred feet deeper than the rest, it is not a surprise. Further lies include one supposed link to man that was created from a non-human skull that was found with a distinctly human leg. The scientist who found the skull and leg bones later admitted to finding two human heads also. However, the most absurd form of evidence was when they created a whole new link to man from just a single tooth that was later revealed to be from an ancient…
