Big Bowl Research Paper
I loved my experience at Big Bowl, because the service was great, the decorations were very neat, and the food was fantastic.

When I went to Big Bowl- an authentic Chinese and Thai restaurant- with my mom, one of the first things I noticed was that they had great service. Right when we walked in, a lady came up to us and seated us. Right after, they gave us menus and asked us what drinks we wanted. They waiter was a very nice and patient gentleman. We ordered quite fast, and our food came even faster! The cooks at Big Bowl were even kind enough to have my mom's source on her stir fry be more mild than spicy, just as my mom asked. I have been to tons of restaurants in my lifetime, many of them having very crabby waiters or very

The Mississippi was the longest river in the United States and people have used the river for centuries for everything from entertainment to transporting goods and services. For example a lot of the water cargo on the river is agricultural commodities. Corn, soybeans and things like that are regularly shipped on the river. Also wood chips and sometimes trees used for pulp production by paper mills are shipped by barge. Gravel and other materials are sometimes shipped by barges as well but I 'm not sure how much specifically on the Mississippi River. There are also oil companies who transport fuels and oil by barge and rely heavily on MS River Transportation.…

The Ohio Buckeye is best suited for native or open areas. Buckeyes are not typically good street trees and are not recommended to be planted close to homes because of litter from twigs, leaves, and fruit. The broad canopy makes the tree ideal for open areas. The tree is best suited for open areas, like parks, but due to its natural habitat it can be grown in woodland type settings. In wooded areas the Buckeye is found in Beech-Sugar-Maple woods and can grow with any plant that grows in wet…

If any single animal could be said to represent of the state of Texas, that animal could only be the iconic Texas Longhorn. Saved from the brink of extinction, this hardy and resilient symbol of Texas, is a uniquely American breed of cattle, easily recognizable worldwide because of the prodigious horn length of the breed, used by the males to protect the herd. Left alone in the wild, the Texas Longhorn can live for twenty years or more, although if domesticated and raised for meat, that lifespan shortens to three to five years. Classified scientifically as Bos taurus, the Texas Longhorn, and all variants of Bos taurus, maintain a close evolutionary connection with Bos indicus, as the two species can breed and produce viable offspring. The Texas Longhorn produces a unique beef when compared and contrasted with other breeds of cattle. The Texas Longhorn is a survivor, and the American grasslands have provided it with an environment with which it has prospered, and will continue to prosper in the foreseeable future.…

The ones who were not fortunate enough to receive a place to eat were left waiting for a table to open up so they could simply sit down. Most were able to find a table by the time their food was ready, only because the time it took for one to actually get their food was outrageously long. It took exactly 18 minutes and 43 seconds for us to receive the food we had ordered, which I would not think of as unreasonable if we were not at a place that labeled themselves as a fast-casual restaurant. The worst part was when two other customers who had ordered after us received their food first, but it is not like they had anywhere to sit! When our food finally arrived, the worker who dropped it off said nothing, gave us a rather sour look, and left without a word of apology. Simply put, nothing about the service there was fast, or very casual…

Quiz bowl is the one activity that I enjoy the most. I have been part of this club for the last 3 years and during this time have bonded with my peers and the two coaches. Quiz bowl has allowed me to explore my interests outside of the science subjects and has given me the opportunity to experience disciplines such as Literature and the Fine Arts, which otherwise I would not have considered exploring. Quiz bowl has allowed me to find a relaxing medium in which to enjoy learning and apply my knowledge, in contrast of the fast-pace and linearity of high school…

Waiting on somebody hand and foot is not a very easy task to accomplish. The struggles that come with serving can be very stressful, and are not suited for the short-tempered. While serving, just like any other job out there, obstacles arise without any for-warning. Whether somebody needs a refill, food did not come out right, or I need to be more than one place at a time, there is always something that needs to be done right away. Unfortunately if there is a problem with the food that is undetectable to the seeing-eye, the blame a lot of the time is taken out on the servers tip. This happens because people in general tend to tip on overall experience not service that was…

On the matter of service, from when you are seated to when you request the bill, there are evidently mixed reviews. As mentioned, the restaurant is often very busy, and so some customers have complained that the waiters can sometimes seem hectic, ruining the atmosphere and resulting in slower service. Also, each table is designated only one waiter, and this may cause some confusion when a request is made to another waiter. However, most customers say that employees are friendly and…
