Betrayal Character Analysis
Betrayal is to disappoint the hopes or expectations of others. To me, betrayal is when an author kills my favorite character in a book because they have betrayed my trust and have hindered my ability to thoroughly enjoy the book or other works they have done. Books are not just stories; they are experiences. When I am engrossed in a book and connect with a certain character it is devastating if they die. When an author kills my favorite character they have betrayed my trust. A well written book has in-depth character development. The reader should be able to relate to the character; maybe not in experience, but in feeling. The characters should have depth and personality. It is very difficult to execute, but it is essential to create a phenomenal book. When I find an author that executes this superbly, I form an automatic adoration and trust for them. That doesn’t mean I won’t enjoy them at all, but I will always approach them with a degree of skepticism and distrust. In the previously mentioned series Throne of Glass, I refused to continue reading the book after Nehemia was killed. When I resumed the book, it was with much bitterness and wariness. It was difficult to appreciate the book as much because of the hole Nehemia left in the story. In the Divergent trilogy, the main character dies. I had gone through 3 books with that character; we were practically the same person. Then, the author decided it’d be a good idea for her to be shot in the end. Now, I refuse to watch any of the movie adaptations because it would just mean reliving her

Since the beginning of time, people have been creating art not just for aesthetic purposes, but as a way to express opinion, communicate with others, and explain the unknown or misunderstood. Often times, artists have contrasting views on the same topic and show this through their illustrations. Portrait of a Psychopath by Krista Gibbard and Confessions of a Sociopath by Jonathan Rosen are both illustrations showing vastly different interpretations of what a sociopath is. And while both images employ the artistic use of color, space, and style to characterize the sociopath, each can be interpreted to have its own unique opinion and attitude.…

In this case study Jane is accused of her husband’s murder. She was identified by a witness however Jane insists she was out of town at the time of the event but has no supporting data to collaborate her story. The purpose of this paper is to discuss whether I would forge Jane’s signature on a document to prevent her from being found guilty in a court of law and potentially receiving the death penalty. In addition, I will discuss this as it pertains to utilitarianism, egoism, and Interpretations of the “Golden Rule” from Hinduism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, and Confucianism. I will also discuss the results by the application to the facts and consider the questions: Was it right for you to forge your client’s signature on the register? Would your answer be the same if the client was your child, spouse, or parent? And communicate the…

Readers travel to a convenient, simplified world that appears to clarify human experience, but ends up muddling story with the author’s prejudice and bias. Over the past few years, I have gained much knowledge about betrayal. I have come to believe that it is close to the worst thing that people can do to each other (besides murder), and it's something that happens more and more as one grows older. By definition, betrayal can mean to be unfaithful, to deliver something to an enemy by treachery, or to desert a person in the time of need. Obviously, this can tell a person a couple of things. First of all, betrayal is a broad "subject," and secondly, it is downright malicious.…

I feel hate and betrayal by you. That you really do hate me. For what I have no clue, I only wished you could open up to me and let me know where I went wrong with you. But I know and can accept the fact that you are not near that step yet to deal with me at this moment. All I know is that I love you very much and it hurts me that you can never say it back. Trying to understand everything and anything about you. Reached out to therapy per your request and it still doesn't seem to measure up to you or anyone that are standing next to you.
