Bernie Sanders Speech
Bernie makes an effort to persuade people that he will be a good president. He is doing this by creating speeches and ads that make them feel like he would be a good president. Bernie Sanders efficiently conveys the message that he can relate to the people by improving the country for the common man in America. Bernie’s campaign is trying to show people that he will help them improve there lives and make sure that the nation our kids will live in is better then how we left it. Ad two talks a lot about how he is going to take down the banks, raise the minimum wage and improve climate control. In Ad one Bernie shows how he is an average person with a family just like the rest of us. Bernie sanders goals for his campaign are too bring jobs …show more content…
They both show his family and him giving speeches at his rallies. He uses calming music and like violins and flutes too give off a pleasant vibe, so Bernie seems pleasant in the video. In both Ads the camera focuses a lot of attention on the crowds, also Bernie shaking hands with a variety of demographics. This grabs viewers from all colors and ages that force them to think that he will fight for them in office. Another comparison to both Ads is that he says a lot how he will advocate for the middle class and lower class. Since almost all of the country is in that category that expands the interest of viewers because people vote for who is going to give them the most benefits. The two Ads are very similar, yet both have discreet differences. Ad one is much longer and focuses more on Bernie and about his life. Ad one is to assist viewers on who Bernie is and why he is running for office. While in Ad two it is mostly describing the issues that Bernie whishes to address in office. The last big difference is in Ad two there is a female narrator describing the video and what Bernie is going to do for our country in office. In Ad one Bernie narrates the video to reach viewers on a more personal

To me this commercial is very successful in persuading its audience to vote for him as a nominee for Alabama’s agriculture commission, because he’s been a farmer, a business man, and a marine during the Vietnam War. Secondly, he is responsible and accountable for the state’s wealth, which is five billion dollars, and furthermore, if the citizens of Alabama don’t vote for him, they may be at risk for losing their farms.…

First one is ACLU foundation and the second is American Civil Liberties Union. ACLU’s mission is (according to their history brief on their site) "to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed to every person in this country by the Constitution and laws of the United States." This ad shows now president Obama morphing into previous president of United States of America, George W. Bush, and with tries with this method, to urge Obama not to act like Bush. The meaning of the picture is that Bush’s mistakes after 9/11, for example, somehow he could brain washed a big amount of Americans citizens, and made them to believe that for all the terrorists’ attacks, for all the bombings and for the World Trade Center tragedy, Iraqi and Afghan and generally Arab civilians were responsible. He added another one stereotype in worlds mind. And for that reason, many people say that he find the chance to start a war to Iraq, because of the rich oil. Obama promised that he is going to change Bush policies and restore the American values, justice and due process. The whole meaning of the advertisement, addressed to United States of America citizens to be suspicious about promises that can’t be kept and simultaneously to hope for a change that can retrieve or even change the value of the name of the United States of America, because, outside of United States, the hearing of “United…

The first ad is from Bic Wite-out showing the struggles of poverty, and the second ad is from a Chinese company, with a bird committing suicide warning the people about the environment. Bic Wite-out begins with two separate images of a drawing of a boy looking down as he sits on the floor. The dispute between the two images is that the picture on the left shows an empty can, and the right shows that this tin has been whitened out, and is…

Comparing both Johnson and Goldwater ads you find that they are both similar in different ways. Neither one of them appeared in their ad which I take as they are trying to communicate to what people find dear such as a little girl in a meadow and Ronald Reagan the great communicator. Both their messages were about going to war. They both had a message, maybe not the same message but it was very clear and précis. Their messages had different meanings in Johnson was ready for war, and Goldwater was wanting to peace to continue. Johnson’s ad was more graphical and Goldwater as Johnson tried to send a clear message.…

There are a thousand and one ways to express the same message. While two ads could essentially express the same message, both ads can be completely different from one another. Even though the two ads express the pros of neutering and spaying of animals, both ads are as different as two snowflakes. The Ireland’s Spay Aware ad indirectly solves the problem by educating pet owners, the benefits of spaying and neuter of pets and using emotions to hook the audience to go through with spaying their pets. The Delaware SPCA’s ad is more direct by offering a free service to spay and neuter stray cats using logic and other incentives to insure that cat owners will accept the public service. Both ads offers the same message, but each ad went into two…

America's recent presidential election received lots of commentary from the American people and the world. Foremost the most obvious of these particulars is the colors used and seen on almost every campaign poster red, white, and blue. It is used to symbolize a patriotic feeling and give people a since of pride, self-importance about where they live and who they want representing them. There are also some colors that are not so palpable, such as the yellow tie shown being worn by our presidential Candidate. The yellow tie is used to symbolize an optimistic attitude towards the future. Then you see the word vote and notice the poster is set up like what you would see hanging in a school to show that he is kind of a small local kid that you can trust rather than a big named politician. Lastly the slogan “Fighting for our future.” makes people feel like they can make a change and progress the world for the generation that they are…

The print advertisement I chose was the Alzheimer’s Awareness ad that Seth Rogen appeared in. (see attached ad) Seth Rogen is a great fit for this ad due to his social recognition and little know that he has a direct link to the disease. His wife of two years mother has the disease and has had it for years. As he stated on CNN “"I think until you see it firsthand, it's kind of hard to conceive of how brutal it is." Therefore even though a funnyman by day he still has time to put effort in what he believes.…

This advertisement was created in an unusual way of telling the narrative the other way round, it tells us a story about the boy who is in a difficult situation from how he is nowadays to how he was. Most of the time, they use medium shot to let audience feel that the boy is directly talking to you including more specific emotions and reactions. From the beginning, the boy sat in an typical interview setting, and then, it’s diegetic sound all the time, until the third actor appealed, non-diegetic music started from then to make audience feel his sadness and isolation.…

The advertisement I chose was an advertisement for the new Microsoft(TM) tablet called Surface. It is a commercial that gets its point across quickly, clocking in at exactly one minute and 37 seconds. The ad is quite effective in pulling the viewer in, with its ever-changing imagery. Being quick but full of information is a working formula that does a lot of good to help sell the product. Comes in, tells you what the product is all about, and leaves. This allows the information to just "burn into the brain" of the viewers.…

Between the two ads there are a couple of things that have made the Anti-Racism stand out and be more effective. Since personal feelings can be changed, the ad has a way of actually changing people’s racial view on others versus a smoking ad that could target people who've already became addicted or really doesn't care about the health affects. The Anti-racism ad gives off many feelings that racist or non racist people can still feel bad and shameful from the disrespect and hurt of African Americans.…

The two advertisements from Dunkin’ Donuts and Costa Coffee have done its job effectively as the official promotion for the companies’ website. For starters, they all show their products appealingly. Dunkin captures image of their fresh coffee being poured while Costa attracts attention using the classy latte arts. Secondly, their points are cleared and concise. Dunkin’ uses slides that talk about different aspects of their products, and Costa states their points in a short, quick description. The word choice in the tagline is also appealing such as “America’s favorite” in Dunkin’s ad or “hand-making…is an art” in Costa’s. Nevertheless, the ad from Costa seems to be more appealing for one reason: they promote something that customers do not…
