Benefits Of Being A Lifeguard
over the summer I got a job as a lifeguard at the Stratford Richardson YMCA. getting this job has changed every aspect of my life from emotionally to physically and much more. these life changes have been both positive and negative effects that have taught very valuable lessons that I will use later in life and others that most likely will fade to the back of my mind. overall I will say that getting this job has been the best thing in my life.

Being a lifeguard there are things that of course you should already know and the main thing is swimming, and luckily for me I love to swim with a deep passion. When becoming a lifeguard the main thing that you are taught is discipline. A lifeguard who never watches the pool never check pool chemistry

    There are many purposes of a lifeguard’s job. The main job is to make sure all swimmers are safe in the water and if a situation does happened a lifeguard can save the person. By preventing drowning’s in the water, lifeguards must make sure that everyone in the pool knows how to swim a full lap without struggling.
