The RH Bills gives the couples and the women, specifically, the choice and freedom on the mode of family planning they want to pursue depending on their needs, choice, personal convictions and religious beliefs. But the RH Bill is not just about the family planning
Prevents spread of sexually transmitted disease like aids and STDs and eventually control population growth necessary for economic development
The liberal minds view the RH Bill as a strategy in fighting overpopulation and the spreading of AID and STD diseases. That’s what they say. They believe that the natural way of family planning is passe in this time of modern age. They want children as early as in their pre-teens to be taught about sex education.
Enhance woman's health as she will be able to determine when to get pregnant
The women can determine when they want to get pregnant. Through this will, it will ensure the health of the women, which can be put to risk with pre-existing condition such as diabetes or pregnancies with not much gap or spaced-closed together. They will gain more control over their bodies and health. This will also ensure the children of having a healthy mother to take care of them.
Prevents unwanted pregnancy

I am not against RH bill, and I am not pro abortion, it’s just I want to teach people lesson on giving birth among children whom they can’t support and will be like others begging on the streets and in the end be one of the government dependents. But I am not allowing manipulations or tricks just to fool us around, just to crash moral issues and other objections. I still believe in the moral values our late Pres. Cory imbued to our present president today and will do what is good for our country with due respect and transparency to all Filipino…

Think not your country can give for you, hence think of what you can do toyour country, this is the famous quotation of John F. Kennedy which has something to do with the controversial R.H. Bill. Are we aware of this RH Bill that is about to become a law? What are its provisions that can help and harm us? Could this be the solution of economic problem in a family? There are many premonitions about RH Bill, one of these is the in human perspective of the church and also to some of the conservative groups; however there are also some that is positive to RH Bill which would agree that this bill must be a law. These pro of the RH bill are the people that would like to debate in order for the pursuance of the bill. But the question is, what is the concept of RH bill? Are the thoughts and time consuming effort of the congressmen would be worthy enough in the pursuance of RH Bill to become a law? And so before I will go deeper with my standing about RH Bill, I would like to emphasize that RH Bill has the same perspective with House bill #4244 an act providing for a comprehensive policy on responsible parenthood, reproductive health and population and development and Senate Bill # 2378 an act providing for a national policy on reproductive health and population and development.…

The RH bill became controversial because of the contradicting opinions of different sectors, people and the government and including the church. Some said that it is good for our country because it can decrease the continuous growth of population of our country or likewise to lessen the number of people who experience poverty in our country. But as I said some people do not agree with this bill especially the church people, the CBCP in particular, they said that using contraceptives are just like killing babies or preventing life or simply anti-life and that against the law in our church. So, we have this “Pro-RH bill” and the “Anti-RH bill” groups.…

Reproductive Health Bill: Killing Lives, Killing Minds. These will be the effects of the Bill in the lives of the people. Upon reading the content of the Bill, we have decided that we are anti-RH Bill. The Bill is not the answer of the outraging primary problems of our country. This Bill will only be dehumanizing the Philippine society in a way that it helps lose the sense of responsibility of each individual to others and even to his/herself. It has flaws that can lead to violations of human rights and freedom of conscience. It can bring a lot of bad changes to the lives of the people especially how they will live in this altered society. When this Bill will be implemented, contraceptives will be legalized and be given free to the citizens in this nation. Every student with their young age will be taught sex education as early as Grade Five. Finally, other methods of artificial contraception’s will be introduced to the public regardless of educational attainment and be legalized that can cause high percentage of sexually transmitted cases and other diseases. These contraception’s will not decrease the cases of STD and other diseases, instead, it will continuously rise. Do you think these are good implications of the aims of the Reproductive Health Bill?…

In the promotion of reproductive health, there should be no bias for either modern or natural methods of family planning. (a., Sec.3 “Guiding Principles”) Contrary to what others think, the bill does not favor one method but two – both the modern and the natural method. The State shall not intervene on the decision-making left to couples. “…the number and spacing of children are left to the sound judgment of parents and couples based on their personal conviction and religious beliefs.” (g., Sec.3 “Guiding Principles”)…
