Movie
 Essay
 (Bend
 it
 like
 Beckham)

A
 lot
 of
 people
 are
 stereotypical
 or
 racist,
 and
 if
 you
 let
 the
 people
 who
 would

push
 you
 around
 do
 what
 ever
 they
 want
 to
 you,
 you
 will
 never
 be
 able
 to

achieve
 your
 dream,
 as
 long
 as
 you
 don’t
 trust
 yourself
 and
 not
 have

determination
 you
 will
 not
 achieve
 anything,
 and
 that
 is
 why
 in
 the
 movie
 “Bend

it
 like
 Beckham”
 Jess
 never
 gave
 up
 on
 her
 dream,
 and
 she
 did
 everything
 that

she
 thinks
 is
 right
 to
 be
 successful.

The
 movie
 “Bend
 it
 like
 Beckham”
 was
 about
 a
 young
 Indian
 girl
 named
 Jess

whose
 dream
 is
 to
 become
 a
 professional
 football
 player,
 throughout
 the
 movie

Jess
 had
 some
 ups
 and
 downs,
 but
 by
 her
 determination
 she
 was
 able
 to
 achieve

this
 dream.

In
 the
 movie
 Jess’
 dream
 was
 to
 be
 a
 professional
 football
 player,
 in
 the
 movie

Jess’
 family
 would
 always
 want
 her
 to
 participate
 in
 their
 Indian
 culture,
 her

coach
 Joe,
 or
 her
 friend
 Jules
 would
 then
 help
 her
 remind
 what
 she
 wants
 to
 be.

For
 example
 at
 her
 sisters
 wedding
 party
 at
 Jess’
 house,
 Joe
 came
 over
 wearing
 a

suit
 and
 was
 peaking
 over
 the
 window,
 Jess’
 dad
 came
 out
 the
 house
 and
 talked

to
 Joe,
 as
 Joe
 was
 leaving
 Jess
 shouted
 his
 name,
 ran
 up
 to
 him
 and
 spoke
 to
 him.

Jess’
 house
 was
 set
 to
 look
 like
 the
 old,
 boring
 Indian
 culture,
 which
 is
 why
 when

Jess
 is
 at
 home
 she
 feels
 uncomfortable,
 irritated
 and
 just
 wants
 to
 be
 away.
 Jess

in
 a
 football
 field,
 you
 will
 see
 her
 happy,
 enthusiastic
 just
 like
 when
 she
 was
 in

her
 first
 training
 she
 looked
 over
 the
 field
 and
 just
 smiled.

The
 music
 in
 the
 movie
 was
 set
 to
 let
 us
 feel
 that
 whenever,
 that
 Jess
 was
 in
 the

household
 she
 would
 feel
 depressed
 and
 then
 an
 Indian
 music
 will
 start
 playing.
