Bella's Point Of View
I really enjoyed every second that I spent reading Twilight. I always had a certain antipathy for the Twilight movies, but reading the book gave me hope. I plan to read the rest of the books in the series and I am sure I will love them just as much as this one.
I find it so interesting how you used the point of view of Bella instead of Edward. Bella’s point of view was very unique. She always seemed to have an inner battle with herself; mostly about her love for Edward. The relationship between Bella and Edward is so intense and contrasting. The quote, “And so the lion fell in love with the lamb” (Meyer 130), perfectly describes their relationship and how they should not be in love, but they can not stay away from each other. The symbolically shows that Bella is Edward’s prey yet they fall in love. The way they contrast so greatly is my favorite concept of Twilight. Bella is humanity, and Edward is symbolic of death, yet Bella fits with Edwards darkness with her pale skin, and Edward balances out Bella’s sedate personality with his friendly one. Bella is light, and Edward is darkness☺. The last line of the novel: “And then the night closed over me” (Meyer 498), makes me think that she is ready to go to the dark side. Even though Edward refuses to change her, Bella is

I would really like to know what the apple on the cover means. It is a very interesting, eye-catching cover but I do not feel like it is very applicable to the book, but at the same time, I love the simplicity. I would also like to know why you decide to write the book from Bella’s perspective. I feel like Edward has so much wisdom and experience. I think it would be interesting to know what is going on inside his head. I question why you made Bella so normal. You could have made her super popular or a geek, but you kept her right in the middle. She is like a sunflower in a field full of sunflowers, and she somehow falls in love with the mysterious, black

I loved this book! It was very interesting to me. It was definitely a book that I couldn't put down. I like how its really intense and calming and also some parts funny. I like how it talks about teen pregnancy because some young teens will want to get pregnant at such a young age and if they read this book it may help them change their mind and wait till they get older, thats very important to me. I really like the chapter where Bobby was talking about the wall when he was trying to get everything back in place and try to see who he really was, i thought that part was really good. I like how it goes back and fourth for the chapters like then and now, it makes you want to read more because in one chapter it tells you really good information and you just want to read even more till the…

Aside from the confusion I had, the only problem that I had with your novel was that it was a little slow in the middle. I understand that the book can’t be constantly moving at a fast pace, but I thought that there could be a minor, adventurous activity, where the book was sluggish. I only have that one critique for you and usually I have many more, therefore I think you did a tremendous job with this book. I think you should…

I think this book was great. This book has more detail than Lord Of The Rings making it slow sometimes. I liked how the writer interviewed the McCandless family after Christopher's death making the book seem much more personal. Girls Just Wanna Have Fangs, written by Sady Doyle, is a harsh criticism of Stephanie Meyers writing style in the Twilight series as well as praise for women and their ability to launch products into global success. Finding someone to argue that the Twilight series is a well written, sophisticated and exceptional could be an elongated task. However, finding “shrieking” Twilight fans is not. Most people won’t argue that the Twilight books are an especially innovative series of books, because they are loaded with very publicized faults. The flaws of the series range from old-fashioned gender roles to a rather unimaginative plot. Even sometimes including unintentional humor in her work, making the series look naive and empty-headed.…

The Twilight books is a series of four vampire-themed romance novels by Stephenie Meyer. The protagonist Bella Swan is a teenage girl who moves to Forks, Washington to stay with her dad and ends up falling in love with a 104-year old vampire named Edward. Edward lives with his “adoptive parents” Esme and Carlisle who are also vampires. Twilight became an instant bestseller and when first published, gained many mixed reviews. There are many weak women in Twilight such as Bella, shortage of free agency, and that self-control is the only thing that Twilight brings to the table.…

What I enjoyed most about reading this book was the way the author introduced and described all of the characters. I had a great picture in my mind about each and every character and I felt myself thinking about some of them even when they were absent from a page or two. It became so interesting that before I could finish the book, I had to turn to the internet to look up the characters of the movie. I just had to see them in the flesh!…
