Christian Worldview Integration is essential to one’s life in general and therefore, this Christian Worldview is important to life coaching. But, it is with caution that a coach introduces the Christian aspect into the coaching sessions. Life Coaching is about the client and their needs, not, the coach’s personal beliefs, but, as a Christian it is necessary if possible to consider the client’s whole life, including their religious belief system. Human cognition and behavior are largely influenced by a person’s beliefs about life and reality, and these beliefs can shed light on many different aspects of humanity, such as faith, coping, and conflict (Koltko-Rivera, 2004). These beliefs affect and are affected by religious worldviews. While many religions teach peace and love, studies have shown that many religious people are prejudiced and discriminate against certain groups (Rowatt et al., 2006; Leak & Finken, 2011). An explanation for this relationship between religion and prejudice is terror management theory. Terror management theory states that faith in a meaningful worldview serves as “a critical anxiety-buffering function,” and this causes people to protect their worldviews in…

This form of sacramental and ceremonial worship is still practised by the Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox and Anglican churches, as well as some Protestant denominations such as Lutheranism and Methodism. There is also a festal cycle throughout the church year that is full of celebrations of feasts and holy days pertaining to the events in the life of Jesus and the lives of saints. Christianity worship can also be seen as someone’s individual path for his/her spirituality or a way of joining with others as a spiritual community.…

The first component in a worldview would be the Philosophical Theology (God). This is the study of one’s belief in God and if he exists. I believe that God do exist, and my reasoning for this is how I was raised, born to a Baptist minister and raised in a Baptist church where I was taught about God, he is the only one who can turn night into day, heal the sick. So one of my worldviews is I can relate to believing in God because that is what I was taught and how I was raised.…

I have learned that the Holy Mass especially on Sundays is the highest form of prayer. Eventhough we always pray at home, attend Bible studies or doing community service, there is no other form of prayer greater than the Holy Mass. God only asked one day and one hour to attend the mass. The Holy Mass is a communal prayer. It is like praying as one, big whole family. God is like a father inviting His children to have a reunion and to be united as one. Through the Holy Mass, we can be united as one…
