Being A Good Leader Essay
What is being a good leader? A good leader involves a lot of hard work and lots of leadership skills. It is very good to be a leader, because that means that you have followers that look up to you and think of maybe becoming a leader when they are older. My first reason for why I think it is necessary to be a good leader is, stay a leader. If you are a leader you need to stay one because if your only one for a certain amount of time then people won’t think of you as a true leader and some people may not even think of you as one at all. For example, Martin Luther King Jr. he was a leader for a short amount of time and he died being a leader, that is why most people remember him. My personal example is, I was a quarterback for my team …show more content…
Since you are the leader, you have one job and one job only, to be a leader. Don’t take a bossy role and boss everyone around. Show respect for your team, they think of you as their whole thing, so show them some respect and not let anyone down and not put anyone down. My personal experience is, well I don’t really have one because I was never a bad leader, I showed my team what to do in a polite order and this leads to my next point My third reason is, don’t be a selfish and disrespectful leader. If you are disrespectful and nobody likes you then nobody will follow you and take of what you say. If your selfish, then nobody will feel the need to be there and they won’t think of you as leader. My personal experience with this is, when I was in science class I was doing the whole experiment and the team felt like they were useless, so they just quit and left the experiment to me. To conclude my essay, being a good leader takes hard work and respect, some people just are not born to be leaders, but followers. If they are not hard workers and are disrespectful, then they are not cold, hard leaders. Thank you! Maybe you were born to be a leader, maybe not. Are you the difference

I learned that you don’t have to show your authority and that you don’t have to be controlling to be a good leader. To be an effective leader, you have to be able to talk to people and be able to connect to the people you are working with. Letting everyone have a say in whatever decision needs to be made is a great way to get everyone feeling empowered and important. Depending on the type of team you have and the type of people you are working with lets you know what type of leadership style to use. Since our team was very self-motivated and productive, we didn’t have to rely on the leader telling us what to do. He would let the group know what the current situation was and asked how we should go about it. This really helped us to have our own opinions and voice and it worked out well for us.…
