I want to be a Clemson Cheerleader because I love cheering. Since I became a cheerleader in the seventh grade, I have lived for every practice, game, and competition. Cheerleading has given me some of the most amazing memories, friends and mentors and it has shaped a lot of my personal character. Having to work with others to accomplish a common goal teaches you to value other people’s strengths and pushes you to be better communicator and collaborator. Cheering is something that has become ingrained in every aspect of my life. In the off season I help coach a youth all star squad and make sure to tumble three times a week.
