Becoming An English Language Arts Middle School Teacher

For the past few days I have been researching which career best fits me. My overall goal is to chose a career that fits my personality and skills. I would also like to see what it takes to get me to this goal/career. My Career Cluster Survey showed that my top career is Education and Training.My personality fits best with this career. Being able to work well with others and to communicate are key for the career I have chosen. My Basic Skills Survey stated that writing and speaking skills are my top basic skills. Reading Comprehension and Critical Thinking are my lowest skills, which I can improve throughout the rest of my years of education. After considering the options, I chose to become a English Language Arts Middle School Teacher. My basic skills matched to this one because of my ability to be social and my ability to learn and take corrections as well as being organized.
I chose this career because it matches the basic skills that I excel in. The many tasks I will be responsible for will include adapting teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students varying needs and interests.
