“ 61 people have been killed by black bears while hundreds of black bears have been killed by hunters in New Jersey” Does the bear hunt really matter that much? The bear hunt isn’t necessary, and some people may not believe this but it doesn’t change anything. The bears will just keep on growing so why should we murder them for no reason while there are other ways to prevent them from hurting our people. Hunting black bears is a horrendous sport which lets hunters get lots of money for doing something wrong. When has murdering and torturing animals become a sport? That is called animal abuse. If people are arrested for hurting people why aren’t hunter arrested for killing black bears. The hunters can not fix the black bear problem by killing them because then they are as bad as the bears. They can’t fix the problem by doing the same think the black bears are doing. The hunters are as bad as the bears. Bears have taken away 61 people’s lives since 1900 while hunters have executed 2,122 bears since 2010, and the bear hunt had gone even longer than that. That is not equal at all, and since 2010 not only 2,122 bears have been murdered. When the hunter slays a female bear, if it had cubs, there would be no one to actually feed it so they would die also, but no one ever realizes that. Taking away a bear’s life is as bad as taking a human's life because no matter who you are or how you act, all living things are equal, even if they are another species.
