Beach vs. Mountains 2
We are always looking forward to their vacation period. There are many options where to choose in the State of California. I think that the two most common places people choose for taking a vacation are the beaches and the mountains. Both places offer a variety of activities and a quiet place to relax. The beach has items that the mountain cannot offer and vice versa. The mountains and the beaches are totally different environments to have your vacation. The purpose of this essay is to contrast the climate, types of activities and locations of beaches and mountains.
I’m going to discuss mountains first. The three aspects I’m going to discuss are climate, types of activities and location. Climate is always important in order to enjoy vacations. If a person dislikes cold weather, he or she might have a hard time in the mountains. The cold climate in the mountains is the first barrier to enjoying them, but the climate and the temperature of these zones also determine the types of activities they offer. Snowboarding, mountain climbing, mountain biking, hiking, and skiing are some activities people can enjoy when going to the mountains. There are many regions that have mountains where people can go and have a great vacation. Canada is a country
Beach vs. Mountains 3 located in North America and contains many mountain vacation sites where people can go and have fun.
I’m going to discuss the beach second. The three aspects I’m going to discuss are climate, types of activities and location. Warm climate is one of the most important features of the beach. Sun and fun are two words that describe the beach. The temperature in those places is always hot. The sea and the warm climate determine the activities that are available at the beach. People can swim, play volleyball, play soccer,

The cold climate of the mountaians offer an abundance of activities. Snow boarding, mountain biking, hiking, skiing and ice skating are a few. When people vacation in the mountains there evenings consist of sipping hot chocolate around a warm fire. If seclusion is what you seek then the mountains can satisfy that for you. However, the ocean and the warm climate of the beach offers swimming, volleyball, soccer, water biking, parasailing, deep sea fishing, snorkeling and many more. Most people go to the beach to lay out in the sun and tan. At most coastal sites, there are clubs and restraunts where people dance and party throughout the night. You can always expect popular beaches to be crowded especially during the summer time.…

In my opinion, people choose these places to spend their holidays because they would like to get away from it all and have the holiday of a lifetime. For instance, those who prefer the beach will like to do some water sports, get a tan, play volleyball or do some snorkeling or diving. On the other hand, the ones that prefer the mountains will try to avoid tourists’ traps and go to somewhere off the beaten track. It’s certainly not the kind of short break for someone looking for a busy nightlife but if you want to relax I’d certainly recommend it.…
