Bcad Ombridge Failure Essay
At approximately 1630, AOCC notified Ramp 1 of the loading bridge damage at G-10. BCAD OPS, BCAD Maintenance, BSO, and airline immediately responded to the incident.
After closer investigation, the following facts were discovered: Minor damage to the exterior luggage passage of the JetBridge
The cause of the damage was mostly due to the vehicle that was parked in unauthorized fashion. Additionally, there is a possibility of internal (Spirit) error of ramp agent signaling “ok to move” to the LB operator. However, this was not confirmed by the means of CCTV. Also, no witnesses were available.
No impact to operations (JetBridge is still in the working order)
Amount of damage: minimal (maintenance will provide the amount)
