Batter To Be Safe Than Take Risk
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
It is better to be safe than sorry
Use reasons and examples to support your responses.

In our life, safety and danger are two factors of human life. Sometimes safety brings more assurance but not all danger is simply danger, taking a risk means taking a chance. What is the better: safety or risk?

People in favor of security think nothing can be got unless there is an assurance. We should respect our life and risk may bring an end without anything. For instance, when driving on a big crowded street, people always say: it is better to be safe than sorry because a moment of carelessness will result in a loss of life.

On the other hand, risk is considered to be dangerous, but it is also a chance for anyone who would like to make a change of their own life. People think they can not stand living a tedious life with no harm done. For example, a student would like to get admitted to MIT. Although his scores are not too high, at average, he had better apply for it because the more you know how to take risk, the more you can get.

In conclusion, I think safety and risk should be coexistent and should not be separated as I would like to have a risky life as well as a secure one. If we know to to balance them, we can not only get success, but also we can enhance the preciousness of life.

Nowadays a lot of people like to take risks in order to have better outcomes in their life. Still, others do not like to take their chances and want to play it safe. I believe that the answer is like a double edged sword. It is not always good to take risks and then be sorry; however, it is fruitless to constantly be cautious and act safe.

First of all, in economic sciences, serious profits usually come with equal big risky choices. It is a law of economics that the higher risk is taken the higher would be the outcome would be. A case in point is in a stock market in which the more shares are obtained the more is the profit is. In fact, the outcome could be even more adequate satisfactory if,by in some way, the risks were minimized. --> (now you talk about playing it safe which is not the topic of this paragraph). In the last example, this is represented by the fact that a possible investor knows information, likeexactly when a company is going to introduce a new product in the public, which leads their decision into buying the proper share.

However, playing it safe has also its benefits. Immense risk taking could be a problem since the result it is not always guaranteed. Risk, in other words, is like gambling; the one day it may offer a lot, but, the other day may be proved an incredibly big loss. (More specifically-> not needed) the example mentioned in the previous paragraph clearly illustrates this point. A high number of shares may give a vast amount of wealth, but, at the same time, could lead a potential individual into bankruptcy. Then, having taken precautions could be very advantageous in case of an unexpected disaster like this. So, having saved some money for emergencies could be proved very helpful. Thus, this is another point in which playing it safe is beneficial.

For all the aforementioned reasons, I feel that sometimes it is better to be sorry having taken some risks, but, at some others cases it is better to play it safe by taking careful decisions.
