Basketball and Soccer are 2 very exciting and challenging sports, you may argue that they are simply 2 opposite sports. Read on, and you will find out the truth. Footwork is extremely important - whether you're a guard post, or a midfielder, you have to have body awareness, balance, and footwork. Both sports have a high instance of ankle and knee injuries, most likely because of the nature of cutting in both sports. They offer a low barrier to entry meaning a very low cost required to join in the fun. Unlike hockey, for these sports all you need is a ball.
