Basketball Dad Book Review
The next review that was written by Basketball Dad on theMDsports was similar to the first one. He talks about how long it took to put it together and basically says you better give yourself a lot of time. He talks about his three kids playing with it and that they love it and get a lot of use out of it (Basketball Dad par.3), which is one of my criteria. He is currently waiting for some replacement parts to be sent in to fix the rims that started breaking and says “I will update my review and add more stars if the company stands by their product and we get the replacement parts through the warranty” (Basketball Dad par.3). He expresses some concern that the item was inexpensive and he hopes that it will last a lot longer once it gets repaired. It appears he has some concerns that because of the price the item might be cheap and not last long. This review seems to be written for anyone who is interested in purchasing this item it doesn’t seem to be targeted toward one certain group of people. Possibly parent more than anyone because he does talk about his kids getting a lot of use out of it letting parents know that it is enjoyable to the kids. He also says that he expects it to break but only after normal use. …show more content…
He also discusses the size of the game and seems to want others to know that it is bigger than he expected, which was one of the things I found helpful and actually went and measured my garage instead of just buying it

One of my favorite books is Point Guard, by Mike Lupica. This book is about a girl named Cassie who has been the best at sports her whole life. She played softball and girl’s basketball, but her team always won. Eventually she got tired of everything being easy, so she decided that she was going to play on the boy’s basketball team this year. Her friend Gus Morales doesn’t know what to think of this. He doesn’t know if or why he is against a girl playing with boys. Throughout the season Gus has to resolve a fight with Cassie and deal with a teammate who makes from his Dominican Heritage. This book is my favorite because I can relate it to my life when I used to play boy’s basketball and baseball. It was also just written recently, so some…

As the book aims to decode the everyday practices of South Asian American masculinity, each chapter details one segment and experience of sport and leisure. The commitment young South Asian American men have to it demonstrates key elements of social formation and co-ethnic intimacy in a large multi-racial city of Atlanta. Pick-up basketball presents one way to provide different and differential claims to the city. Through intentionally organizing pick-up basketball games, South Asian American basketball players create opportunities to enjoy co-ethnic socializing while putting into place this alternate time and space outside of their busy work and family lives. Hello, I am Lebrons’ niece Tamela Raeburn (Gass). Daughter of Lawrence Milton Gass who is the older brother of LeBron. I would like to take a moment and take us all back to the early 1980’s. One of my favorite memories that I have of my Uncle LeBron is when I would spend afternoons at their house and work outside in the yard. I would help him cut the grass. We would go for walks around the perimeter of the backyard. After a hot day we would go inside while waiting for dinner and indulge in a refreshing RC cola. Yes, this was my first experience with the delicious taste of the RC. After dinner, waiting on Mom or Dad to pick me up I would hang out in the living room where I remember an aquarium in the living room and I remember Uncle LeBron telling…

Soccer is the most popular sport in the world. Soccer mom is portrayed as putting the interests of her kid and herself in soccer. An unprecedented level of sturdiness is the cornerstone of LeBron’s masterpiece. The structure is incredibly solid, and this can actually result in a little rigidity in some places. The external materials are surprisingly hard, and this ensures that these kicks will stay on the court for a long time. Still, the tightness of the mold makes for stiffness that takes a while to alleviate; however, proper effort can easily break them in, which is good since they are ultimately built for long-term use. Rating: 4.5…
