Abstract
Occupation valuation is the methodology of identifying and concluding details that incorporate occupational responsibilities and necessities for a specific occupation. More specifically, job analysis is the procedure of collecting data, inputting data and outputting conclusions that outline accountabilities for a specific occupation. Occupation valuations are piloted towards the occupation and not the individual. Even though, information may be obtained from personnel through interviews or surveys, the purpose of a job analysis is to describe or specify conditions of the occupation. It also empowers organizations to facilitate and endorse occupational aspects of employment, such as; recruitment, selection, employment, training, compensation and job performance appraisals (Blanchard & Thacker, 2013).
