Barranquilla
The industrial city of Barranquilla is located in the north of Colombia at the mouth of the Magdalena River. It is the capital of the Atlantico Department, and the largest industrial city and port in the Colombian Caribbean region. According to the 2005 census, Barranquilla has a population of one million, one hundred and forty-eight thousand, five hundred and six, which makes it Colombia's fourth most populous city after Bogota, Medellin and Cali.
