Autobiography Of Tai Juan
Hello,
I am touching base regarding TaiJuan's credits. TJ attended summer school he needed .50 credit which he completed. TJ also, needed Geography 9 needed .19 credits he completed .24 in summer school. When he completed those credits he was moved into Civics 9 and US History 10A.
From my understanding Champlin Park students completes Civics in the 9th grade however, in South Washington Public Schools (Park High School) students do not complete Civics until 12th grade.
TJ completed both night school classes and Apak (sp) throughout the school day. He completed the two summer classes that he was placed in and also, worked towards the two others as he completed them within the last 7 days of summer school.

“Sor Juana” is a biography of Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz written by Octavio Paz and translated by Margaret Sayers Peden. It is a book of 470 pages divided in six parts that besides Sor Juana’s life and work, explain the difficulties of the time for an intellectual woman. It was published by The Belknap Press of Harvard University Press Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1988. Reading this book gave me the best opportunity to know more about someone that although has been very influential in my entire life, I didn’t know all her history. My admiration and respect for Sor Juana started since I was a child and one of my sisters used to read her poems. Through my literature classes I knew a little more about her and the…

It was Nine O’clock, Pedro Juanito and his family had just arrived at their new house located in Woodgrove, California. As soon as they got in the driveway everyone began to feel relieved after eight hours of flying and driving from Mexico. Before Pop could turn the engine off everyone opened their doors and ran inside to see how astonishing their new house was. Everyone except Pedro was excited because Pedro had just got used to life in Mexico and he didn’t want to move. After everyone looked around and assigned rooms, everyone went to bed for school and work except Pedro, he just sat there wandering what his new school would be like and if people would like him. After around 30 minutes of thinking Pedro finally got tired and went to sleep…

First of all, my name is Sio Tevaga; I am the youngest out of three. I was raised in the island of Samoa which is located about 5000 miles south of Hawaii. As a little kid, I was always competitive in all that I did especially when it came to sports. For example, racing was the one thing that I would say I mastered simply because I would out run all the kids that would race against me. Around the age of nine, that’s when my life started to turn in terms of blessings and trials.…

In fact, a summary of each six weeks is provided in Source A which demonstrates how organized and well thought out this class truly is. There is nothing in the six weeks that isn't touched by the source. Also the class has a very lenient late work policy for intermediate and major grades. Source F confirms this, stating that there are only point deductions for being a day or three late.…

Based on Patrick Symmes' article “Thirty Days as a Cuban”, it seems as though the degree of ECONOMIC INEQUALITY (the extent of the economic difference between the rich and the poor) in Cuba is relatively low. While many people still make more than others, the vast majority of Cubans are significantly poor and suffer from starvation from day to day. Symmes' account of the average life of a Cuban was interesting because I don't believe many people are aware of the suffrage going on in this country. I, for one, am a prime example of this. I had no idea that such a state existed in Cuba. The ration system and dictatorship of the country contribute immensely to the degree of poverty. And in turn, poverty results in what we would label as DEVIANCE and CRIME (behavior that violates norms and arouses negative social & behavior that violates written laws, respectively). These people literally have no choice but to result to crime in order to survive. The communistic ways and schemes of the government do not really enable moral and ethical ways of making even a mere comfortable living. This suggests an inevitably low chance of VERTICAL MOBILITY (the movement up or down a through a society's stratification system) in the sense that while the Cuban government might like to think or tell people that movement up the vertical scale is possible, it really is not.…
