A Small Taste of Euphoria
Although I am only 20 years of age and I have not had too many euphoric times in my life, I have had a life changing exploration of another country. Before my trip to the beautiful city of Sydney, Australia I had not been out of the United States. Australia is more of a liberal country that focuses on natural resources, free health care and land and animal conservation. This is a nice change from the hustle-bustle city I live in. My first stop in my life changing, overseas adventure was in Nadi, Fiji. After a 13 hour flight, I got off the 2 story plane and immediately felt the humid wet air on my skin. I took a deep breath and the cold crisp, clean air entered my lungs. I turned my head to the left, then to the right. All I could see was beautiful mountains and lush, green trees surrounding me. There was friendly islanders holding delicate, beautiful purple lays and they were singing Fijian songs. After another long 5 hour flight, I finally arrived to my main destination of Sydney. Since my dream has always been to travel to Australia, this was defiantly the most euphoric time in my life. As I was approaching the airport I could see the coast of Sydney from my window seat on the airplane. The ocean stretched from east to west and the waves were crashing down on the shore so I could see the white, rippled water. My face was lit up with joy and I could not stop smiling from ear to ear. Stepping into the airport I could immediately see the change in culture, even the vending machines had thing I had never seen. We took a long drive in the taxi to the hotel, and like a excited dog I was holding my head out the window trying to see all the beautiful sights. That evening was one I will never forget, the stars shinning bright and my body anxious for the next day. The one adventure I must describe in order to fully show the Australian

I’d gone to Australia on a whim, a road trip to Key West at a mere suggestion, which if I discounted my arrest one drunken night was well worth the thirteen hour drive there then the thirteen hour drive back, I’d figured I could simply go to Denver to see what I could see.…

What felt like only minutes later we touched down. As I stepped down the steps of the airplane I could smell the salty sea water and hear the palm trees swaying in the wind like they were dancing. All four of us scurred of the plane like little rabbits being let out of their cage for the first time. Not one person was any less excited than the next and In no time I found myself in the rental car. The tires of the car glided on the road seamlessly. We arrived at our hotel just hours later.…

We just got off the plane and we are in Atlanta, Georgia. We came from Ohio and it was about an hour and a half to Atlanta. Atlanta is the biggest airport in the U.S.A. They had a big food court and a lot of shops to shop in. We were heading to gat D. We had to take the train, but we had to stop at A, B, C, and then finally, D. We had to go through security and that was the worst part. When we finally got finished with security we waited at our gate. After we got on the plane we took our seats then started to fly. I loved it when it was going up in the air because it felt like it was a roller coaster and you had that feeling like your belly is hollow. My sister and I watched the movie Pitch Perfect 2. It took about 312hours to get there but it…

Arriving safely in Florida felt amazing. My mom had told me my aunt and uncle would be waiting to pick me up and drive me to their house. They had a guest bedroom waiting to be my room for the whole summer. I said bye to my new friend Jaden and got off the plane. I made sure I had all of my luggage and that nothing has been removed. I walked to where my aunt and uncle said they would meet me. I was new to this airport so it was hard for me to find where anything was. I eventually ended up finding them of course, but I had to ask several people for…

On day 1, we experienced the Bicycle Safari around Olympic Circuit. After the safari, we visited the ANZ Stadium and had a tour around it. The following day was a long journey to Canberra, the capital of Australia. In Canberra, we visited the old and new Parliament and then visited the National Museum. Then we returned to Sydney for dinner and back to the hotel. In the 3rd day of the trip, we had a beautiful harbor cruise to visit the world famous Opera House and the Harbor Bridge. Then we experienced the view from the top of the Sydney Tower where we also experienced a 4D cinema based on the Sydney Tower. But unfortunately the weather became bad and it started to rain so we left without seeing Opera House. Next, we visited the Sydney Aquarium, the largest in Australia. After Lunch, We had a walk along the sands of Bondi Beach.…
