Aurora Mid-1900 Analysis
How does Aurora relate to the setting of the mid-1900’s? Her character along with her setting relate to that timeframe, but somehow it doesn’t fit. In the story, Aurora explained that her mother and Mr.Seats were sitting in the living room watching the soap opera Days of Our Lives, which was first aired on November 8th, 1965. But later, Aurora described that her mother and Mr.Seats were also watching The Young and Restless, another soap opera. But this other show didn’t air until March of 1973.
