Attention Teens
Attention all teens! After a long long long time of waiting on hand and knee of the evil adultarchy, we the teens and the Council of Teenage Freedom have decided to revolt! just Sure, we are just a bunch of teens funded by the first national bank of dad, we have no say in politics until we are 18,

The truths that we hold self-evident is; the right to have a myspace page. The right to be able to play video games whenever we want. In addition, to have the right to have a cell phone at any age. We would like the right to be able to watch T.V. any time of the day. The right to go places by ourselves. We would like the right to receive money from our parents whenever needed or wanted. The right to be able to watch any movie of any rating we desire. Last but not least, to abolish the child labor, which they call chores.

The adultarchy have put us through many injuries and usurpations. They have caused us much pain and agony, just to list a few:

Our parents have forbideth us the right to have a reasonable curfew time.
They have forbade us to go to places by thyself.
Our school administrators hath not let us chew gum or wear hats in class.
Our school administrators have forced us to wear uniforms to hide our expression and individuality.
Our school administrators have placed unreasonable exit times and have instructed the teachers to give us unreasonable amount homework.
Our parents have forbid us to borrow money in need of emergencies.
They have not let us watch certain PG-13 and R movies.
They have forbade us of having loud music on.
They have forbid us of having parties or going to parties.
They have compelled us to do homework as soon as we get home. They have forbid us to go places alone.
They have even taketh away our prized possessions when we have a done something afoul.

I and other members of the Council of Teenage Freedom have tried fruitlessly to peacefully resolve problems with the adultarchy. We have asked politely, respectfully and

However, it cannot be stressed enough that this is not a 'cry for help' or a way to pick apart our guardians. It is not that we want to be free of our parents because they are harmful, nor do we feel that all teenagers deserve the same rights of independence as each other. Simply, if we can prove that we are financially, emotionally, and personally responsible for ourselves, then we should be allowed our freedom and independence to provide for and make our own decisions. By this age, we have developed our own morals and beliefs which are potentially unlike our parents or siblings. Unhealthy conflicts within the household often begin from two family members disagreeing on a moral obligation or belief. This causes unnecessary tensions which ultimately create an unhealthy living environment if the fighting becomes regular. We should not be forced to have the same religious beliefs as our parents, nor should we feel pressured to conceal our sexual identity, political views, or racial…

Public schools across the United States have been dealing with the issue of dress codes. As of 2008, twenty-two U.S. states specifically authorized schools to institute dress codes or uniform policies (8). School boards may generally create and enforce dress code, but they must do so without violating students’ constitutional law (9). Schools are finding difficulty in enforcing their dress code among students. Parents feel as if the schools dress codes are condoning their students for expressing themselves and say that it is unconstitutional and wrong. Parents, students, and administrators all have the idea of uniforms in the back of their mind but, they will have to give up things to have them. Though a dress code for high schools students is appropriate, uniforms would be a better option.…

This is a time in an adolescent’s life where they feel the most need for acceptance from their peers. They have a need to be more experimental, innovative and sometimes controversial. They are at a time where they have to keep reinventing themselves so they fit in with their peers and society in general. Teenagers emphasise freedom but with this freedom come responsibilities and obligations that they don’t want nor do they think they need. Teenagers are at an age where they think they are adults but they don’t understand…

Dear Dr.Weatherly there is one specifically rule that i don't like about this school. We the people should be able to wear hats to school without being stopped in the hallways every twenty seconds. Not allowing hats is absurd and the logic behind it makes no sense. Some say that it affects behavior but I am just a student who rarely gets in trouble except the occasional wearing a hat in school because I forget I have it on when I walk in, others say that you could hide your face or maybe hide things in the hats and that doesn't make any sense.…

    Teen Dating Guidelines

My parents do not allow me to date. All they have made me do is push them away and lie to them. I had relationships behind their backs. I believe it is worse and more dangerous that way but some parents push their kids to act like this. They have made their bond with me weaker and made me rebel against them. I don’t agree with their rules, I just pretend that I do and do whatever I want behind their backs. I know it is like that with many teenagers, although I hate seeing that and I wish I could talk to my parents about it and get advice from them. When my parents tell me not to do something, or even forbid me from doing it, I get more curious and I want to do it even more. I have tried sitting down and talking to them about why they should let me start dating but they don’t want to listen. They should understand that teenagers need to find themselves, they are going through so much and sometimes all they need is someone to talk to and give them their opinions and…
