During the World War II era, which was from September 1st, 1939 to September 2nd, 1945, many countries had conflict with each other and the development of the atomic bomb began. As time progressed in the war era, the bomb was fully developed as the United States dropped two on Japan. As the bombs demolished two cities in Japan, many people questioned if the usage of the bomb was necessary or not. The atomic bomb impacted the conflicts between the United States and Japan by forcing Japan to surrender the war, preventing Japan from evolving into a major threat to the U.S., and by saving the U.S. from another powerful attack from Japan. Any evolution to the Japanese forces were prevented by the United States as the cities of Japan were demolished, thus saving any more harm to the U.S. As the U.S. were saved, Japan had a great loss of people, in which many of those were innocent, which starts to cause debates between many people on whether using the bomb was the correct decision or not. Since America was the only country to fully master the atomic bomb at the time, the country went through change as they became one of the most dominant countries due to access of such weapons.The dropping of the atomic bombs will always have an impact for the future of America, as many other countries gained the ability to create their own atomic bombs and spark fear for the American residents to experience what the people of Japan did in case the opposition declared to drop a bomb on the United States.
