Executive Summary
It is the mission of the Executive Management Team, at Atha Corporation to develop and maintain policies and practices in accordance with extraordinary financial management while providing a structured environment conducive to progress and improvement while maintaining compliance with state, local and government regulations. In this plan you will find the recommendations for improving the functions in human resources as well as in the accounting and finance functional areas that will make it possible for us to accomplish our goals. The Executive Management Team at Atha Corporation are prepared to take on the additional accountabilities required to meet the challenges involved to reach the predicted sales increase of $5 Million over the next year. Through the creation of a new business plan that will provide a solid foundation for continued growth and success, this department will initiate provisions to support the organization’s growth while adhering the organization’s code of ethics. Through effective collaboration with all functional areas a smooth transition into the next decade is assured.

Purpose Statement
Human Resources Functional Area
The Human Resource Department is committed to hiring, training and compensating our employees with paramount integrity. Working closely with all departments, Human Resources will identify staffing needs, attract, train, motivate and retain a diversified workforce. It is our goal to provide a structured environment conducive to progress and improvement, while maintaining compliance with state, local and government regulations. The selection process is also important in determining the short-term and long-term success of the organization because your most valuable assets are your employees. Therefore it stands to reason that the people chosen to represent the organization should be ones that are capable of reflecting the organization’s culture. “Companies with a well-designed employee selection process understand the importance of retaining these valuable assets. It is the intention of management to attract and retain top-quality employees by implementing strategies as outlined in the goals and activities. Accounting and Finance Functional Area

The Accounting and Finance Functional Area is committed to provide fair, timely and accurate financial reporting and accounting services to its officers, managers and stakeholders. We are devoted to analyze and monitor the company’s growth while developing and maintaining policies and practices in accordance with tactile financial management. It is our goal to provide a structured environment conducive to progress and improvement while maintaining compliance with state, local and government regulations. The accounting and finance department is committed adhering to corporate philosophies as a term and condition of employment. We will take all necessary actions to enforce the Organization’s Code of Ethics throughout the functional area by ensuring appropriate personnel are assigned to precarious tasks.
