Lunar phases
For this second outside activity that I choose was to see the moon for each clear night y write down what I saw. This activity was really interesting because it was my first time that I paid attention what and how the moon works and moves also I love the moon when it projects a lot of light. My observations started on September 20th and they end on October 20th. During this time that I was looking for the moon there were many days that I couldn’t see the moon. With this activity, I notice that each day the moon change the time that it rotes, for the first week of my observation I was unable to locate or see the moon. Later I notice that the moon was growing up and as the days were passing the moon was moving more and more to the east side. When it was a full moon about 8:30pm or 9:00pm the moon was just rising. As the days were passing I found that each night the moon was rising at later hours during the night. This last week of my observation I haven’t see the moon is because maybe the moon is in the sky but during the day. During this time that I was looking for the moon I found that we have a lot of beautiful nature unfortunately sometimes we don’t care or pay too much attention to it

The position of the moon during the time I observed it with respect to the horizon and compass direction changed quite a bit as well. From the first night I observed the position of the moon it was 4 fists about the horizon. As the moon changed from a waxing gibbous to a full moon the position increased to 5 fists above the horizon. Then as the moon changed from a full moon to a waning gibbous the moons position began to decrease from 5 fists above the horizon to 4 fists, 3 fists, and on my last observation it was at 2 fists above the horizon. Also, the change in the moon position changed with respect to compass direction changed from on my first observation it was in the South direction to at my last observation being in the East direction. So, through out the whole…
