“Astrid’s” Origin Story
This is the story of one called the Monster, however her real name is Astrid. People see her and the judge before they get to know her; this concept of judgement is an issue that has been around for years and many people do this all day everyday. Astrid was not created she was made, she was sculpted from the gods, she is beautiful, gorgeous, made from heavenly beings put into one (supernatural). The gods thought that with this talent and beauty she would be too powerful for human beings to handle, to balance this out she was made exquisit on the inside and hideous on the outside. But, when Astrid got there she saw mountains, rivers, trees, animals, and much more. Astrid thought will all these amazing objects where was the death, the war, and the poverty. Astrid began to walk she found her stomach began to hurt, she thought she must be dying and cried up into the heavens “Why send me to this beautiful place, what is there to warn me about, this place is beyond gorgeous.” and in that moment Astrid is not longer hungry. Astrid’s creator’s were looking down on her and protecting her, she felt safe even with everything the gods had warned her about. Astrid left this beautiful place and began to walk; she walk and walked and walked for days on end. Then she came upon a town that was almost as beautiful as the meadow she left from, she walked upon these things that the gods called humans, they were pretty but always seemed upset. She began to accumulate into the town but she had one problem, no one would talk to her; when Astrid went into a shop for people they would speak only a few words to make Astrid to get out. She felt rejected, she felt abandoned, she felt alone. The gods had shut her out, she was completely alone, she found a house out in the middle of nowhere so …show more content…
But the children of the village seemed as though they could not stay away for at night they would come out to her house and throw rocks into the windows breaking them and on top of that they would destroy her house by breaking the outside; while they were doing this they would yell “Monster Monster come out come out of hiding.” Astrid was sad and alone she had no one to love and no one to love her but still she felt love in her heart for the gods who knew she was only being tested. She decided to move on to move on to the next town and find a new life, she knew she was not pretty but if only people could know her for what she was on the inside. So, she packed up and moved on, she got to the next town and move onto the next one, once she got there yet again she went to find a house as far from the town as she could, but still close enough to get everything Astrid needed. One day after being in this town for just over a year she heard a knock on the door, she went over to the door and opened it, it was this little boy; her told her “I just wanted you to know that this house used to be my grandpas before he died.” Astrid went over to the little boy his name was August and told him that if he ever wanted to visit the house for a little he could, the little boy thanked
