INTRODUCTION

The purpose of this assigment is to get the information and detail about the Department Of Safety and Health(DOSH),National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health(NIOSH) and Social Security Organisation(SOCSO).The example of information that I want to search is the introduction,funtion and program of all department.And from this assigment we can know the different role of safety and health of organisations in Malaysian.

OBJECTIVE

Student will know the different role of safety and health of organisation in Malaysian.

Student will be able to understanding the function of DOSH,NIOSH and SOCSO.

Student will learning the program in DOSH,NIOSH and SOCSO.

DATA Department of Occupational Safety and Health.

Introduction Also known as the Jabatan Keselamatan dan Kesihatan Pekerjaan in Malay term.
Occupational safety and health in Malaysia started with steam boiler safety
(before 1914), then followed by machinery safety (1914-1952 Machinery Branch under Mineral Department). It was continued with industrial safety (1653-1967
Machinery Department), industrial safety and hyginene (1970-1994 Factory and
Machinery Department) and finally occupational safety and health (after 1994
DOSH). DOSH is a department under the Ministry of Human Resources, responsible for ensuring the occupational safety, health and welfare of people at work as well as protecting other people from the safety and health hazards arising from activities of various sectors. DOSH is also responsible for enforcement of legislations related to occupational safety and health for
Malaysia. The DOSH official website features legislation, OSH info, industrial healthiness and personal protective equipment, certificate/SHO course and services. 1.2
