It can be argued that god did create humanity for a purpose, as why would he endow us with sense, reason and intellect if he intended us to forgo their use? It therefore logically follows that we must have some purpose, hidden or not that we are expected to fulfil, also why would the bible detail the creation of humans in such detail as is demonstrated in genesis 2, why would god, in this story, prioritise mankind over all others when the purpose if said entities is made apparent as animals are made to feed man, so if god endeavoured to assign a purpose to those supposedly subservient to mankind, why would he not give a purpose for mankind to fulfil, why also, according to the bible, would god give such guidance to mankind be it in terms of physical manifestations such as Jesus, or in less tangible instances such as giving guidance on an event, although this is often disputed, an example of this would be the siege of Jericho where it is said; ‘Then the Lord said to Joshua, “See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men, then March around the city once with all the armed men. Do this for six days. Then Have seven priests carry trumpets of rams’ horns in front of the ark. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the trumpets. When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have the whole army give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the army will go up, everyone straight in.” (Joshua 2:26:2- Joshua 2:26:5) It therefore follows a logical path, that although the purpose is not made apparent, why would god give such frequent guidance to us, if we had no purpose to fulfil
