are an English metalcore band from York, North Yorkshire. Founded in 2008 when Ben Bruce contacted his old companions upon returning to the UK after residing in Dubai. The current line-up of the group consists of Ben Bruce (lead guitar), Danny Worsnop (vocals), Cameron Liddell (rhythm guitar), Sam Bettley (bass guitar) and James Cassells (drums).September 4th 1990 Danny Worsnop in Beverley, England. Danny had a rough childhood and was bullied at school. In contrast to this he became popular at college and was a success with the ladies. He formed Asking Alexandria after college when he met Ben Bruce in Nottingham. He started with "Stand up and Scream" in 2009, followed by "Life Gone Wild" in late 2010, this was accompanied with a UK tour. 2011 sees the release of "Reckless and Relentless" and rumours he is working on a solo album to be released later this year. He has settled down and given up the drink and drugs rock and roll lifestyle to be with his love Myca Gardner. He is currently living in Dallas in the US. In our modern society, music such as rap, pop, and country are the most popular and most listened to genres. However, there are hundreds of other genres that get little to no attention, such as metalcore and post-hardcore, and thousands of bands that get only moderate attention despite having extraordinary levels of talent. One such band is Asking Alexandria, a British metalcore/post-hardcore band. They are what most people would classify as “screamo”, because most of the lyrics are sung using guttural, “scream-like” sounds. Asking Alexandria was founded in 2008 and has produced two full-length studio albums, a short film, and nine music videos since then. Despite this success, there have still been countless problems within the band and its members since its founding. The ability to overcome these obstacles while touring the world and achieving many different forms of success is one of the multiple reasons that Asking Alexandria is an outstanding band.
