REGISTER for
Register or UnregisterOR a Course
UNREGISTER
Use these step-by-step instructions to register and
FOR A COURSE unregister for your courses.

Step 1

Login to the Student Portal at Portal.CSUGlobal.edu using your assigned Username and Password.

Step 2

In the My Classes section of the Portal Dashboard, open Scheduled
Classes, and then click Course Registration.

Step 3

The first registration screen displays the academic calendar for your registration track (Burgundy or Gold), with start dates for upcoming terms. Step 3

Using the drop-down menus at the bottom of the screen, select the term, degree program, and course type (elective or required) for the courses you wish to choose from.
Click Next to continue.

Step 4

The next page lists courses for which you have already registered and courses available for registration in the selected term. Place a check mark next to the course or courses in which you wish to register or unregister. Scroll to the bottom of the page, and click Submit to complete your registration.

Step 5

Look for a highlighted message at the top of the page indicating your registration action was successful. If you do not see this message – or if you see an error message – your registration or unregistration may not have been completed.
You will receive an error message if you are attempting to register for more courses than are allowed for a single term. Please contact your admissions advisor if you have questions.

Step 6

Click Portal Dashboard to return to the main Dashboard and confirm that your registration action was successful.
Open the Scheduled Courses tab to verify that the registration changes you made are reflected in your list of scheduled classes.

    A 37 y/o black female with a history of asthma, presents to the ER with tachypnea, and acute shortness of breath with audible wheezing. Patient has taken her prescribed medications of Cromolyn Sodium and Ventolin at home with no relief of symptoms prior to coming to the ER. A physical exam revealed the following: HR 110, RR 40 with signs of accessory muscle use. Ausculation revealed decreased breath sounds with inspiratory and expiratory wheezing and pt was coughing up small amounts of white sputum. SaO2 was 93% on room air. An arterial blood gas (ABG) was ordered with the following results: pH 7.5, PaCO2 27, PaO2 75. An aerosol treatment was ordered and given with 0.5 cc albuterol with 3.0 cc normal saline in a small volume nebulizer for 10 minutes. Peak flows done before and after the treatment were 125/250 and ausculation revealed loud expiratory wheezing and better airflow. 20 minutes later a second treatment was given with the above meds. Peak flows before and after showed improvements of 230/360 and on ausculation there was clearing of breath sounds and much improved airflow. RR was 24 at this time and HR 108. Symptoms resolved and patient was given prescription for inhaled steroids to be used with current home meds. Instruction was given for use of inhaled steroids and the patient was sent home.…
