We all know those legendary retired athlete stars like Michael Jordan,David Beckham,Shaquille O’Neal,and so on. But they all have something in common,they were all the best in their sport in their own way.Now we are going to discuss about why Arnold Palmer was the best at his own sport.So who is Arnold Palmer?Arnold Palmer was an American retired professional golfer who was nicknamed,”The King and “Arnie.”He is the first earliest superstar of the sport’s television age in the 1950s,was also a big part of “The Big Three” in golf during the 1960s,and also won several PGA Tour /Champions Tour events back in 1955.He was predominantly considered as one of the best golf players in history.With that said let’s prove that he was the best in golf history. …show more content…
Palmer had many diversity of golf businesses which includes owning "Bay Hill Club and Lodge."It was the venue for the PGA tour,"Arnold Palmer Invitational"which was renamed in 2007 from the Bay Hill Invitational.This led to the existence of "Palmer Course Design" in 1972 which was also renamed Arnold Palmer Design Company that moved to Orlando,Florida.He also owned Latrobe Country Club it was where his father used to be a club pro.All the endorsements were administered by "Arnold Palmer Enterprises."
