Argumentative Essay: The Process Of Creating A Designer Baby
The process of creating a designer baby is quite challenging. There are multiple steps in creating a designer baby that the parents and doctors would have to overcome. The first step is creating the embryo with In-vitro fertilization. Meaning that they have to overcome a process by which the egg is fertilized by the sperm outside of the body, and placed into a petri dish. Then they would have to monitor and stimulate a woman's ovulatory process, and then would have to remove an egg from the woman's ovaries and let the sperm fertilize with the egg within the petri dish. The second argument to go with the idea of designer babies is that you would be able to make sure your child will not have to worry about shaky hands or sweaty hands. The arguments that go against the idea of designer babies would be that by creating the baby on how you want their appearance to be is going against human traditions. A child can learn how to play a musical instrument so the parents could save 20,000 dollars over a trait that can be taught. In addition, the parents should not pay 14,000 dollars on whether or not their child would be an extrovert rather than an introvert. That is absurd it should not matter whether the child grows up to be an extrovert or an introvert that is what makes us unique as an individual.
