Argumentative Essay On Pet Insurance
Despite the untold millions of pet owners in the U.S., a huge percentage of them do not have any form of pet insurance; strange when you consider how attached people become to their animals and treating them like family members. When it comes to looking after our own health needs, we do not forget how important it is; so it makes sense that we should consider insurance to protect our pets.
Contrary to the belief of many, this is an important monthly expense; this attitude quickly changes when these pet owners are presented with the bills for treatment. In the last ten years there have been many areas that have seen price increases and vets are amongst them; this has meant that providers of pet insurance products have also been forced to increase …show more content…
This situation happened to me a couple of years ago when I was looking at spending one thousand dollars to save my dog; I have to admit to asking myself at the time if we could justify the expense. To make matters worse, there is always a chance you pet still won't survive; animals do not always survive after a course of treatment or operation.
The financial strain of keeping your pet healthy can be overwhelming; this is even more relevant if you are experiencing financial difficulties. If you are experiencing money worries then raising additional finances can prove embarrassing.
A poor financial situation should never be a reason why a pet does not receive adequate attention; arranging a pet insurance policy saves this type of predicament from happening in the future. Vet bills could escalate but pet healthcare insurance policies are still the best option; these plans can be purchased from anywhere between twenty to forty dollars a month which could save a fortune in the long term.
Various pet healthcare insurance options are available; perhaps to incorporate more than one pet on the same plan. Hopefully this article will make pet owners think again about their responsibility; perhaps the advice here will help you make the decision you have been agonizing
