As immigrants, it takes months and years in some cases to get a health insurance. Thankfully, we were able to afford my father’s expensive medication to control his physical pain while waiting for the insurance. When you add physical pain to the equation, it makes the road to recovery so much more difficult. Thankfully, the creation of medicine for diseases is not only able to provide relief of physical pain, but it also provides hope for being cured of these diseases. I believe that the glimmer of Hope these medicines provide is crucial to each patient. These medications, side effects and all, are not just able to help people feel better, but also keep a smile on their face. I’ve always had a love for Medicine, but I’ve never thought of medicine being as powerful in my life until my father’s cancer diagnoses. Although my father’s cancer was not cured and he is no longer with me, but he always insisted on me to develop on my career path in Pharmacy and to never give up on my dream
