Argumentative Essay: Doumia's Obligation
Katerina causes a huge disruption while she is out on the streets.
While Katerina is making this disturbance, people are short with her. The people were very nasty while in present day, i believe people would be more empathetic and understanding to her situation.
Doumia pities him, and promises not to leave him.
She acts very self righteous, saying that she is not a sinner and therefore has no need for him.
Yes they did have an obligation. Churches, even present day, should pray for the sick. Either for them to get healed or to be sent to heaven.
I believe that she was being over dramatic.
He gives Katerina and her kids some money
He reveals his admiration for Dounia, and that he finds Raskolnikov intriguing and likes watching what he does.

I notice in your response of clinical informatics being implemented on units that the inpatients are provided iPads to access for their medical records? To take part of their care? WOW! That seems bizarre to me. It seems like it would be asking for trouble. Wouldn’t you agree? Antoinetta, I can’t help to imagine the patient laying in bed, board, obviously not a real sick patient, asking a multitude of questions, for example, “what does this word mean”, “what does that lab result represent”, “why is that”, “what is this” . I know the patient is entitled to asking those questions, but I just feel that that would be the wrong time to provide them what that level of access when they need to be healing. We, the nurse,…

Trata, in Cambridge, serves elegant and appetizing contemporary American cuisine with continental flair in its charming and warm restaurant. For the perfect start to your meal, enjoy the baked brie in flaky puff pastry and the crispy crab cakes with roasted corn salsa and avocado aioli. Some of Trata’s specialty house entrées include the grilled salmon filet with coconut curry sauce, the beef Bolognese with rigatoni pasta and fresh shaved parmesan and the rosemary gravy-slathered half roasted chicken with potato wedges. More casual fare, such as sandwiches like the barbecue pulled pork with mozzarella and the chicken basil and pesto with Swiss, as well as pizzas, like the prosciutto and parmesan with caramelized onions and garlic cream sauce,…

Cabello is a nurturer and when she’s not alone she teaches the youngest orangutan how to survive. I observed Cabello offer her back up as means of transportain and assist the youngest on swinging and climbing. When the aggressively annoying orangutang came back to fight Cabello always made sure the youngest was out of harms way. While it may be true for other animals as well I think the qualities of humans are more apparent in the actions of a primate. Amid note taking I looked up to see Cabello staring at me with the look of someone deap in thought part of me thought she was a human. The other part of me started to question whether or not I to am the subject of a research assignment. I turned to my phone and found articles upon articles stating the vast cognitive skills of the Orangutans in relation to humans. I can’t help but wonder what Cabello is thinking as she stares at me am I friend of foe, and if the glass was removed who would be the first to go. Since the evidence I revealed proved intelligence but the inability to make connections like humans I think the orangutans are fascinated and unless we do something they find to be threatening we are not harmful to each other.…

The Fourth Amendment protects citizens from unreasonable searches and seizures; however, it does not guarantee against all searches and seizures if there is reasonable doubt. Searches are determined on two important interests. The first is the intrusion on the individual’s Fourth Amendment Rights; the second includes legitimate government interests such as national security. What constitutes a reasonable suspicion? Where must a public official draw the line? How should one address any “gray area” that might arise?…

In America there are so many people who live without healthcare. President Obama has tried hard to change that known fact by introducing and passing his new Obama Care Act. It is very important for people to have proper healthcare coverage, medical care, affordable medications, and for all healthcare services to be available to everyone, whether they are poor, middle class or rich. For most Americans, high quality care generally is readily accessible without long waits but at high cost. However, the uninsured and, increasingly, the underinsured, the poor, and members of underserved minorities often have poor access to health care and poor health outcomes. The health workforce is well trained, yet the United States faces a severe shortage of primary care physicians. Approximately 45% of the U.S. population has a chronic medical condition, and about 60 million people, half of these, have multiple chronic conditions; the CDC estimated these numbers during a recent survey.…

Social Networking or the use of specific websites or applications to interact with other users is one of the many key and driving factors today in our world. We find ourselves lost for many minutes or possibly hours at a time on any particular app or website. Looking deeper into the issue of social networking and its impact on our life, I highly doubt we have accomplished anything at all. A very smart man once said, “Time is money.” If that quote is true do we find ourselves in the twenty first century wasting money on pictures of people we don’t even know and moments we were not a part of?…
