Argumentative Essay
Students should not be required to wear uniforms they should be able to wear what they want to wear. Students should be able to wear what they want to wear. Students should be able to dress how they like to dress. They should be able to express their style. Some students prefer to wear uniform because you will have less time picking out what you want to wear. Others think uniforms are more cheaper and easier to find.

Students should not be required to wear uniform so they can show out their style. Uniforms take away our individuality. They should be able to wear what they want to wear whatever that makes them happy and comfortable. Some people expresses their personality through the way they dress. Everyone has a different styles and fashion and they should be able to express it. With uniform they wouldn’t be able to express it because some schools don’t allow you to wear certain clothes. Some students like to show off their new clothes and shoes they got.

Uniform can be hard to find because of the certain clothes or color you have to buy. For example, say you want to buy a white cotton shirt you have to make sure that it is not see through or denim like. Sometimes every year there's new styles and new clothes come in for the new seasons so it hard to find the school shirt because not everyone want to wear them regular blue polo shirt. It not that easy finding a collar shirt that is dress code appropriate and what I mean by dress code appropriate is like not a see through shirt or crop shirt. Another problem is the cost of school uniforms. Many students' families can't afford the cost of school uniforms.

My style is very diverse and reveals my general interests, whether it be nerdy shirts, girly clothing or vintage outfits from the 40's. Personally, I have always been comfortable in my clothing whether I fit in with others or not. In fact, I always prefer to look different and I have more than enough clothing to express my unique style. I do, however, have friends that always feel under pressure to wear the right clothing and often borrow clothes from me. It is reasons such as these why all schools should require uniforms. School uniforms may be the prominent aspect of our society’s road to success in educating its…

Throughout the years, there has been much debate with schools across the country on whether or not students should be allowed to wear uniforms. Through past experience with this argument, it’s safe to say that wearing a uniform is not a bad thing at all. Why? For one, uniforms stop other students from being judged on how they look, two, they save families money and students will not pressure their parents into buying clothes some families can’t afford, and lastly uniforms increase safety and security. So I do strongly agree that students should be able to wear uniforms.…

Another reason that we should not have uniforms is natural disasters. How would a parent identify their child? Most parents know what their children wear to school for the day, and it is a very easy way to pick out your child. Or another is what if a student with superiority attacked a younger age student how would they be able to describe their attacker or pick them out of a group if they all look the same. “School is a place where the next actors, writers, artists, politicians, inventors, designers and musicians are trained. School uniforms send a clear early-life message to students that comfort is important and creativity is not, that authority is allowed to abuse its power and constrain our constitutional right of free speech and expression. Students learn from uniforms that their individuality, political opinions and religious rights are unimportant, as is their education; students are regularly suspended for non compliance to the uniform code even if their school work is excellent. If uniform-requiring…

I believe the novel is a far superior experience in comparison to the movie. The Outsiders gives you a better insight into the characters thoughts and feelings. As the reader, you also gain knowledge through foreshadowing and flashbacks, which is not hinted in the movie. In addition to the written literary elements, the novel is described in great detail and gives you a deeper understanding of it.…

(procon.org) Clothing choices are a crucial part of self expression and taking the choice away from someone can result in stifling students creativity. Overall, when kids do not have the choice on what to wear they are unable to express their individuality. Requiring students to conform to a dress code and uniforms is absurd and unnecessary. School uniforms and dress codes hinder a student's’ freedom of expression and promotes conformity over individuality. When a student has to conform to a dress code, they can’t wear clothes that they want to wear. Dress codes and uniforms tell you what type of clothing you can wear, what colors, and how long the clothing has to be. So, everyone looks the same and can’t wear what they want everyone to see them in for 5 days a week 7 hours a day.…

Most would say that college athletes are already paid to play by the scholorships that they are given such as free tuition, meals, books, room and board. However, some would say that college athletes are being taken advantage of by the coaches, universities they attend and the NCAA because of the career ending injuries, lack of being able to support themselves off of campus and the lack of a complete education. There are many pros and cons to this heated debate and as we have seen in various reports and statements from the NCAA on why college athletes should or shouldn’t be paid to play.…
